Girls
Aloud is the girl band, a
product of Popstars: the rivals presented by ITV and
produced by Granada. Girls Aloud includes the cream
of talented girls who were chosen and screened from
many auditions held across the country.
The
final band was chosen by public through telephone
and text voting. The final five members of the band
include Cheryl Tweedy, 19, from Newcastle, Kimberley
Walsh, 20, from Bradford, Nadine Coyle, 17, from Derry,
Nicola Roberts, 17, from Runcorn and Sarah Hardy,
21, Greater Manchester.
